Megan
Hi, I’m Meg, the singer in Parkin & Heys. Singing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. From school concerts and college shows, to studying Musical Theatre at the Chichester Conservatoire, music has always been at the heart of everything I do.
I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree and have since gone on to perform in a wide range of venues, covering a variety of genres from classical to folk, pop and rock. With years of experience on stage and a deep love for storytelling through music, I bring emotion, energy, and professionalism to every performance.
Alongside live events, I also write original music and offer bespoke song-writing, creating personalised songs for weddings, anniversaries, or any special occasion. There’s nothing I love more than helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments with music that’s truly personal.
Russell
Hello, I'm Russell, the guitarist in Parkin & Heys. Having played guitar for many years, I hold my Grade 8 qualifications in both Electric and rock guitar, as well as a diploma in music. My playing style blends technical precision with expressive flair, allowing me to adapt to a wide range of genres and performance settings.

Over the years, I have performed at numerous events and venues, including the renowned Manchester Jazz Festival. I have worked with several bands and musical projects, including being part of a double guitar duo, which has given me a strong foundation in both lead and rhythm work.
Whether providing elegant acoustic accompaniment or lively, upbeat arrangements, I believe my playing creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. My passion lies in crafting beautiful, dynamic live music, especially for weddings and special events.
